Introduction to Robotics & Coding

This 9 week session has been designed to introduce young students to:

• dc and servo motors

• mainboards

• switches

• gears

• IR sensors

• wired and wireless controllers

• LEDs

• Scratch (for programming robots)

In our classes, each student builds a different robot each week. All of our lessons have a game, challenge or fun activity that is designed for each robot and encourages the kids to modify the bot design to improve its performance. 

Week 1: Introduction to building cells, switches, batteries, dc motors and crown gear

Students are provided with instructions on how to build the chassis of a moving robot and are encourage to Build Your Own Robot.
