Haven Academy - Robotics, Ages 8-12

Join us for Haven Academy's first Robotics Club! We'll be meeting for 9 weeks on Mondays from 1:45 - 2:45 to build and play with robots.

Throughout the 9 week session, we'll be introducing different robotics concepts and components as we lead each student through a new robot each week. To make it fun and interactive, our instructors will lead the students through a game or competition evey week using the robots they build. As seen on a popular TV robotics show, each week will provide opportunities to cutomize the robots to improve their performance in battles and games.

We'll be introducing and working with: gears, axles, dc motors, switches, IR sensors, servo motors, LEDs, mainboards and more!  In addition to learning robotics concepts, our little engineers will be improving their spacial awareness and problem solving skills in an environment that encourages building, testing and refining their designs.
