Franklin | Expedition Mars: Robotics Workshop | Ages 8-13

Using gears, axles, motors, and RoboThink's proprietary hardware, they'll even have the chance to construct a remarkable spaceship, their ticket back to our planet. No experience necessary– just make sure to bid farewell to Earth before embarking on this thrilling interplanetary adventure!

Topics Covered: Explores how to use mainboards, switches, IR sensors, gears, wired controllers, DC motors and axles as well as concepts like gear ratios, potential and kinetic energy, transferring motion and more! This program is also loaded full of different astronomy information, from constellations to comparing the sizes of the planets!

We highly suggest coming to class 15 minutes early to see what your child made, take photos and videos, and help with the clean-up process. Campers are so proud of their creations and look forward to showing their bots to their parents.
