Join our weekly Robotics Club for kids ages 7-12 for an exciting 16-week program where participants will build a different robot each week! Kiddos will learn to use DC motors, mainboards, IR sensors, switches, and batteries while constructing their bots. Each session encourages creativity and problem-solving as kids play with and modify their designs, fostering experimentation and innovation. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience, this club will inspire a lifelong interest in technology. Sign up now to kick off a semester of building fun!

Week 1:    Introduction to RoboThink Building Cells

Week 2:    Introduction to dc motors, switches and batteries - Switch Pusher Bot

Week 3:    Using dc motors to build models of amusement park rides -  Ferris Wheel

Week 4:    Introduction to the mainboard - Go Kart

Week 5:    Using the mainboard to build a car with a proper chassis - Deliberately Bad Robot

Week 6:    Introduction to gear ratios, Gear Ratio Mini-Fan

Week 7:    Introduction to the worm gear; building an Electronic Turret

Week 8:    Using the worm gear to build a hill climbing robot - Incline Climber

Week 9:    Introduction to IR sensors - IR Ring Toss

Week 10:  Using IR Sensors to build a self-driving car - Line Follower Bot

Week 11:  Intro use of 3rd dc motor - Spinning Blade Battle Bot

Week 12:  Intro wireless controller - Cutting the Cord

Week 13:  Introduce coding robots - Spinning Ballerina

Week 14:  STEAM - Fusion of Art and Robotics - Spinning Pallock

Week 15:  Introduction of servo motors - Lancer Bot

Week 16: Building Your Own Bot
