Fairview Robotics Camp: Building Bots To Battle | Ages 8-13
Welcome to our Robotics Camp! Do you think you can build the best battle robot?
In this week-long program, campers will have the chance to build and customize their very own robots using DC and servo motors, switches, LEDs, IR sensors, and wired and wireless controllers. Each day, campers will build two different robots and have the opportunity to test them out in a variety of fun robot games and battles.
After we tackle these basic robotic components, we'll dive into creating a self-driving bot and learn how to code our robots in Scratch. We'll then challenge the young engineers to write the code to get their bots through multiple challenges, all while keeping it fun!
With a focus on hands-on learning and problem-solving, this camp is perfect for kids who are interested in robotics and engineering. Get ready for an action-packed week full of robot building and battling in this camp, and may the best bot win!
